The book entitled ' Munamadan' written by Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota describes the life of a poor society of the rural area of Nepal. The book was published in 2007 BS by Sajha Prakashan . The story of the film is based on the political movements which contributed to the introduction to democracy in Nepal.
